We do not do "DEMOS" for any reason but AmScope has a thirty (30) day inspection policy for returns. You have thirty days from the delivery-date of your purchase to test and inspect the item. If the item does not fit your application or does not meet your needs, please contact us for a Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within the thirty days. Please retain the original box and all packing, to ensure the item is in resalable condition. You may contact us directly through email at our Contact Us section. All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number.
If you contact us within the inspection period for a return, you may be refunded the purchase amount, minus applicable deductions if any, which may include original shipping and handling costs. Deductions will be assessed based on the condition of the product, and reason for return.
Damaged Items: If your item is damaged during shipping, please report these damages to the shipping company responsible and request a damage claim number and forward it to us. Please also take pictures of the damages and email them to us. We will have the shipping company pick up the damaged package(s). Upon receipt of the claim number from you or the shipping company, we will ship your replacement items.
Wrong Items Received: If you receive the wrong item(s), please take a picture of the received item(s) and email it to us. Upon confirmation of the wrong item(s) being shipped, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you for the return. Once the wrong item(s) is returned, we will immediately ship you the correct item. You must notify us within 30 days of receipt if there is a problem with your order, so contact us right away if you did not receive the correct items with your order, or if anything is missing from your order.
Missing Items: You must notify us within 30 days of receipt if there is a problem with your order, so contact us right away if anything is missing from your order. For microscope/camera combos, our shipping department will sometimes utilize the outter portions of the Styrofoam (see below). Before reporting a missing item, please thoroughly check all of the packaging materials as well as checking to see if more than one box was shipped for your order. If two or more boxes shipped, they may arrive at different times. Check with the courier's website to confirm how many boxes were shipped.

To request an RMA number, please submit an email with a written request including your order or invoice number. Please include a detailed note regarding the reason(s) for the return, and the model number of the product(s) you wish to return. Once you have received an RMA number from our offices, you may return the item. Without an RMA number, your item will be returned to sender at your expense, so please be sure to send items back only with an RMA number issued from us at AmScope.
Once the product is received at our facilities, it will be processed by our Returns & Exchanges department. Items returned must be received back in the same, new condition with all original packing material and accessories that it was originally shipped in order to receive a full refund less shipping and handling cost. If this is not the case, a re-stocking fee will be assessed. Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees.
If you think you have received a defective product(s), you must contact us within 30 days to resolve the issue and let us know that there is a problem with the product(s) you received. After 30 days, your purchase will be automatically covered by our warranty service.
Non-Inventory and/or discounted items are final sale ONLY. You can return for exchange if a non-inventory item is defective. The same warranty applies.

Returns Must Be Pre-Approved Prior to Shipping: Contact AmScope via email for a return authorization number (RMA#) and submit an RMA Request Form online. Items returned without an RMA# will be returned to the sender at your expense, so please do not send any product to us without prior approval.
Returns Must Be Re-packaged in Original Shipping Materials: The items must be returned in the original packing material and received in "like new" condition. Using other packing may result in a 20% restocking fee deducted from your refund amount.
Bulk Returns:Orders that require a return of 5 or more items may incur a 20% restocking fee when returning for a refund. We will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
All Items and Accessories Must be Returned: Items missing parts or accessories will not be acceptable for refund or have at least 25% deducted from the refund amount.
Instruments Must Be Received in New Condition: Instruments showing marks, such as scratches and dents, etc., due to usage will not be acceptable for refund.
After 30 Days: Returns are considered on a case by case basis, and will include a 20% restocking fee if approved.
