The Higher the Magnification - The More Detail You'll See

Magnification is the ability of your microscope to make small objects seem larger. As the magnification increases the area being viewed will be decrease is size but the detail of the area being viewed will improve.

Amscope microscopes come with multiple magnifications to aid you in finding the proper magnification for viewing each specimen.

Camera Connection Types

When comparing 2.0 and 3.0 there are few major differences. First the transfer rates. USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster.

Camera Resolution

The most important factor in ensuring successful microscopic imaging is choosing the appropriate optics and camera for your application that gives you more data and higher image quality. When selecting a microscope camera, it is best to base your decision on the most important requirements for your microscopic observation.

Great microscope

This student microscope is trully amazing for its size and price. I bought it for my son who has huge interest in microscopy and science, but is still young (9 years old). This microscope enables him to view slides with very decent clarity and he loves it. The camera is not amazing, but it is good enough. Picture transmitted is not as clear as when viewed with the eye piece itself but is good enough. Overall, i am very happy with this lightweight but great microscope.

Top marks all round!

Very quick response from first opening chat to delivery - just 48 hours from ordering and despatch from the Netherlands to delivery in Edinburgh. Well done, Marissa!

Microscope bought for grandchildren, age 11 and 9. Both quickly into using it with Father's support and help. Although I haven't been lucky enough to use it with them, reports are that it is robust and easy to set up, use and view specimens. Camera works well too so 4 people can see the object at once.

Great value for money.

Would have liked a carry and storage case to protect the various eyepiece and objective lenses when not in use, but for the price ....?
